Things I Learn

This page keeps track of my personal growth. There are many lessons I have gained from personal experience (out of actually doing things), talking to people, reading articles and reading books. These lessons will be translated into actual changes in my beliefs, attitudes and actions. Through continuous self-improvement, I will become a better person who can accumulate wealth more effectively.

Key Lessons I Have Distilled

1) I should keep on improving my interpersonal skills because I will need to be very good with people in order to excel in marketing and management. Knowing how to market goods/services for your company and knowing how to truly lead people are the most valuable skills in the corporate world (as well as for my own businesses). Only when I become a valuable asset myself, can I generate higher income.

2) I should keep learning about stocks and shares. Learning how to own companies is very important because the owners are almost always richer than the non-owners. I should learn how to analyze stocks (esp. blue chip companies) and decide when it the right time to enter the market.

3) I should aim for a high cashflow, high income so I have a lot of cash on hand to go in big into stock investment when there is good opportunity

Improving My Mind

1) Meditation
2) Mindfulness
3) Exercise
4) Mind Chi

Aim to regain control of my mind and rewire my mind to think better, grow in wisdom and function better so I can better attain my goals and better figure out what I should be doing.

Nourishing yourself

It is important to spend each day wisely. We only have that much free time per day. The time should and must not be wasted. For nourishing yourself, do so in 3 main directions:

1) Nourishing your body with healthy food and exercise
2) Nourishing your mind with a reading program (read 4 newspapers/magazines, books on business, leadership, investing, tech, economics, inspiration, aim to read 3-4 books a week)
3) Nourish your spirit by focusing on who/what you are grateful for, find ways to help others, don't take things for granted

1) Li Ka-Shing: Money Wisdom and 5 Sets of Funds
2) Warren Buffett
3) Benjamin Franklin
4) Donald Trump
5) Richard Branson
